Continuing Professional Development for Supervisors
Videos available from Christian Perspectives on the Supervisory Process
Session 1: Hosting & Containing: Supervision as Sabbath Space
What does the self-emptying, space-making God of Philippians 2 teach us about the role of the supervisor? In what ways does supervision echo sabbath invitations?
Session 2: Eliciting & Focusing: Turning Aside to Look
Exodus 3 heralds the call to stop, look and look again until what is beheld reveals its meaning. Contemplative seeing lies at the heart of transformative supervision.
Session 3: Exploring & Imagining: Making the Peripheral Central
In Luke 8, by touching the hem of his garment, a woman’s healing stops Jesus in his tracks. What has happened on the periphery of awareness, Jesus makes central and explicit. So too in supervision the peripheral becomes central.
Videos of the complete series can be purchased for £40 from training.ipsrp@gmail.com
