Bob is a Methodist Minister who has worked in circuit and in chaplaincies within high-secure psychiatric settings and hospice. Between 2017 and 2022 Bob lived in France, where he and his wife Sue ran a small centre for reflection and hospitality. They have now returned to the U.K. and live in Scotland.

  • Bob's particular interest is in encouraging a reflective style in ministry using creative methods.

    His written publications draw on his experience of hospice chaplaincy, and an honest reflection about his reaction to this work.

  • Bob continues to be fascinated by the process of pastoral supervision and has worked as a lead trainer with the Methodist Church as it rolled out its supervision programme for those in ministry in the U.K.

    He is also co-trainer with supervision courses offered through Wesley House, Cambridge.
